Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a flex desk and a dedicated desk

The flex desk is an unassigned seat. This means your seat may vary from one day to the next, but you'll always have a quality space to work from. With a flex desk, you don't have any storage space so you can't leave anything overnight. The flex desk is a great option for people whose office/work fits in a backpack or briefcase.

The dedicated desk is a desk assigned to you (and only you) month-to-month. It comes with a locking cabinet and drawer so you can keep your things at the office. If you have a desktop computer, you definitely need a dedicated desk. If you have a lot of paperwork that you want to leave overnight, then you also need a dedicated desk.

What is Working Company?

Working Company is a coworking space. A coworking space is a shared work space where individuals and very small teams come to work and connect. This is called 'coworking'.

Coworkers are from different professions. They work for different clients and employers. Membership in a coworking space is month-to-month (kind of like a gym). There are no long-term lock-ins.

Unlike business centers that are formal and corporate, co-working spaces are designed to encourage a strong sense of community.
